Your task is to create a video that constructs a vivid, self-contained world. The world you create should not be a mere description of someplace that already exists but should instead be someplace novel - someplace unreal but believable. This space can contain objects we know but should not be merely video footage of an existing place. It can be a composite or completely new, imagined world.
The video can be created by whatever means possible and should follow some of the key tenets of ambient video and should not exceed 2 minutes in length. Your video should be uploaded to an online video service (YouTube, Vimeo) and instantaneously accessible at the review session on October 18th.
You can use video (standard or High Definition) or string a series of still images together in a video editing application such as iMovie or MovieMaker. Additional resources:
